Shine A Light on Literacy is a Social Enterprise created to generate revenue to fund community-based literacy programming while creating employment and training opportunities in one of Canada's most marginalized urban arears - Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Please read and if you wish distribute our Open Letter to British Columbians

Here are some ways to help:

1. Buy one and tell a friend or neighbour.
2. Download group order form for your work, neighbours or community group.
3. Give Literacy Lights as a corporate or promotional gift (Info sheet is here.)
4. Ask your local retailer to carry them as a regular item.
5. Give them as prizes at the company picnic or golf tournament.
6. Volunteer to help at one of our booths or sign up for our Mentor's program.
7. Don't need a hand crank flashlight w/cell phone charger? Please consider a donation.
